This group will meet one Saturday a month in Murfreesboro, TN on Take the City Gathering Weekends at 9am, and be in community throughout the month in each person's sphere of influence. This group will be led by Renae Luketic and is for anyone who wants to grow in Godly character and habits of leadership outlined in scripture. We will study scripture to see how God outlined the topics below as well as utilize supplemental resources, books and weekly leadership devotional and blogs from Renae.

This is open to any adult looking to walk out Godly leadership in all areas of their life.

Heart of Leadership

The heart of a leader starts at the moment of salvation. We will discuss monthly in some way how these verses apply in various leadership situations.

"If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved; for with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses resulting in salvation."Romans 10:9-10  | “Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. “ Matthew 5:8 | “Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." Proverbs 4:23

Leader Health

Leader health is about making the choice that Joshua did when he said "Choose this day who you will serve, but as for me and my household we will serve the Lord." Joshua 24:15 paraphrased

It is a daily choice to love God more than anything in your life. Godly wisdom is needed to understand that God's heart is for you to love your family well and still fulfill the Great Commission.

Leading Others

Leading others mean we must lead like Jesus. Can you have such love and compassion for those that you lead whether at home, work, community or church that you can readily say you would lay down your life for them? We will talk through each month in some way how that attitude and heart can be applied in our culture and society.

Growing Disciples

It is important to remember that we in our own flesh can grow anyone, but it is the power of God that does it. "So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth." 1 Corinthians 3:7

Each month we will talk about how to apply this principle practically, spiritually and emotionally so that we can disciple like Jesus in all spheres of our influence.

Teaching Methods

Jesus employed several teaching methods when interacting with his disciples, the crowds and the religious leaders as well as the believers and unbelievers.

While there are many different methods Jesus used that we will cover each month, one of our main focuses will be on the teach and take model he used with the disciples

Teaching Methods

We will discuss different tools & resources each month to help us connect in our personal, family, community and church spheres of influence.
